I wash mine every second day too, it sucks. Someone I follow on Tumblr from Melbourne bought Special Effects from Wildilocks today, I’ve heard that they’re pretty good. You could try there for something different? The store is in Little Collins.

I think I used Special Effects about six years ago (the first time I was pink!), and it was okay- AMAZING colours, and I think it lasted okay for me… may have to consider trying again! xx

Is there any way to dilute Atomic Pink down to the colour you want? Because that shit needs to be bleached out of my hair, no shampoo will move it.

I tend to use a a mix of both Manic Panic and Fudge, but whenever I use manic panic, it lasts a long time for me (about a month, before it starts to fade), which amazed me, considering Fudge fades within a week…

Yeah, fudge is pretty much the worst, haha! It shits me that it’s so hard to find good products in Aus.
Also, I wash my hair every second day, so pretty much every dye fades super fast for me. :/ I think I’ll just try everything once and see what’s best suited! :D xx 

Manic Panic is so hit or miss and I personally don’t think it lasts that long/the fading makes your hair look like shit usual imo. My fav is Punky Colours by Jerome Russel, don’t know if you’d be able to get it though!

Fuck using Whiter Shade of Pale - it’s a rip off. Just dilute Pink Moon in conditioner first. That shit is boss - it’s what I do. I used to use WSoP but it did the same bloody thing.

You’re so welcome! I can’t find that sort of color here in my state(in the US) and would have to special order online. But maybe dilute with conditioner using a brighter shade? Or something else like conditioner? I know that sometimes help!

The original colour is by Pravana Vivids which are an American company, but my hairdresser told me he reckons Fudge colours Pink Moon + Whiter Shade Of Pale (which is like a purple toner) might combine to make the same tone.
