Oh wow! I’ve started hooping as well! Did you go for a weighted one, or a hollow one? Cos I went for a hollow one, and I am RUBBISH at keeping it around my waist, and apparently the weighted ones are easier. xx
I bought mine from Hoopnotica.co.nz, and their hoops are heavier than some, but technically not weighted, according to the website. It weighs 1.5lbs.
I haven’t hooped since I was about 12, so I am a bit rubbish too! It came with a DVD for beginners, gonna give that a go on the weekend and see if it helps ^_^
My friend has a hoop gang! I don’t know what’s involved exactly, but I’m picturing us roaming the neighbourhood just HOOPING in people’s faces.
